Online Activity Registration Instructions

Below you will find general and detailed instructions that will help you establish a customer account, ID#, and a password. Please read all the information, especially sections regarding Required Forms, Family Information, and Refunds. Call our office at (925) 373-5700 for any additional information. You must accept responsibility for knowing the rules and regulations before you register online. Printing these instructions listed below may be helpful for future reference.

Important! For New Online Customers
Before you can log on and register for activities, you must establish an online customer account and your account must be approved by LARPD.  Approvals will be processed between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. each weekday.

ONLINE REGISTRATION

Step 1    General Instruction Summary

After you set up your account, receive your approval from us via e-mail, and you have received your ID#, you must add any family members into your account BEFORE you begin the activity registration process. Click on "My Account" and log in, if you haven't already. Now click "Change Family Members." When shopping for activities, and you put an activity in your cart, before you get to the payment screen you will be directed to specify which family member(s) is/are registering for each activity. When adding family members to the account, it is very important to include the correct date of birth for each person. This helps the online registration software determine eligibility for age-restricted activities.


Step 2     Set up an online account with LARPD

New Online Customers
Before you can log on and register for activities, you must establish an online customer account. Click on "My Account" at the top of the screen. This will bring you to the "Customer Login" screen. Click on "Request an account now" and complete the application. Your account must be approved by LARPD before you will be able to register for activities. Approvals will be processed between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. each weekday. You will receive account approval and an I.D. # via e-mail. After you set up your account, receive your approval from us via e-mail, and you have received your ID#, you must add any family members into your account BEFORE you begin the activity registration process. Click on "My Account" and log in, if you haven't already. Now click "Change Family Members." You will be able to register for activities any time, 24 hours a day using your Visa or MasterCard for payment.

Existing Online Account Holders
If you already have a customer account, click on "My Account" at the top of the screen. This will bring you to the "Customer Login" screen. Log in by entering your Login Name (or Customer ID #) and Password.

Secret Question and Answer
This question is only used to verify that you are in fact the customer and allows you to change your password online if you answer it correctly. Also, if you call our main number to request your Customer ID# or Login Name, it will be used to verify that you are the customer.
NOTE: LARPD cannot change your password, but we can walk you through the process of changing it online.


Step 3    Browse or Search Activities

Browse Activities
Click on "Registration" to see list of activities. Click on the underlined activity name to get detailed activity descriptions. You may narrow your activity search by using any or all of the 4 search boxes at the top of the screen: Location, Category, Sort By, and Select.

Search for Specific Activities
Click on "Registration" to see list of activities. At the top of the activites list you will see two search methods:

With the 'Activity Number?' search you can only enter the entire activity number (example: 3451.101), you cannot use just the 4 or five digit number without the dot and extension.

The 'Advanced Search' will take you to the "Activity Search" page.


In the "Activity" section (shown above) you can enter the 4 or 5 digit activity number in the 'Activity Number' box and click on the "Search" button at the bottom of the page. This will show a list of all the classes/activities with that number.


Step 4    Select Activities

If you want to register for this activity, click on "Add to My Cart." Repeat until you have selected all the activities you want. Be sure to take note of any forms, handouts or packets that may be required for this activity. To Print Forms: When selecting your activities, click on the "Download Forms" tab at the top of the screen. This will take you to our downloads page where you can select the form(s) you need, print them, fill them out, and bring them to the first class meeting. Please note that you may need to complete several identical forms if your child is registered for a variety of activities. Our insurance carrier requires signed waivers for each activity. General rule: If the activity is for someone under 18 years of age, LARPD requires a Youth Waiver Form and a Medical Release Form for each activity.


Step 5    Pay for activities

Click on "Checkout" to go to payment page.

  1. Assign family member names to the selected activities. Click "Continue."
  2. Confirm your activity names, dates, enrollee and fees. Click "Continue."
  3. Type in Visa or Master Card information. Click "Continue."
  4. After payment has been approved, print a receipt. Bring the receipt to class.


Step 6    "My Account" is Your Account

Here you will find: Family Schedule, Pay on Account, Deposits, Credits, Account Detail, Payments, Change Password, Change Address, and Change Family Members. These are helpful information sections that allow you to manage your schedule and update family information as needed.



IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OUR CUSTOMERS:

1. Required Youth Forms

Participation in all LARPD youth activities is contingent upon completion of certain forms, such as Waiver and Medical forms. The forms required for each activity are noted at the top of the activity detail page for that activity. These forms must be completed by the parent/legal guardian and given to the instructor at the start of the first meeting of each activity. Your child will not be permitted to participate until the necessary forms have been turned in to the instructor.

To Print Forms: When selecting your activities, click on the "Download Forms" tab at the top of the screen. This will take you to our downloads page where you can select the form(s) you need, print them, fill them out, and bring them to the first class meeting. Please note that you may need to complete several identical forms if your child is registered for a variety of activities. Our insurance carrier requires signed waivers for each activity.


2. Adult Forms

Adults, 18 years of age and older, will not need to print out a waiver form. Adults will be required to sign a liability waiver at the first meeting of each activity.


3. Other Forms and Lists

Some activities have handouts such as supply lists, driving instructions, etc. If there are handouts for activities, it will be stated at the top of the activity description. Click on the "Download Forms" tab at the top of the screen to link to the downloads page.


4. Family Information

Please enter complete and accurate information for your family when applying for an LARPD online account.

Falsification of information, e.g., family members or ages, will result in being withdrawn from the activity in question, forfeiture of registration fees, and restriction from future online registration.


5. Refund Policy

Cancellation requests and refunds are not available online. To cancel an activity registration, please call (925) 373-5707 no less than 7 (seven) days before the first meeting of that class or activity. You can choose to have a refund, less $5 service charge, mailed to you or credited to your account. Note: Some activities have a "No Refund" policy. This will be written in the activity description. Any cancellation received less than 7 (seven) days prior to the start date will not receive a refund/credit.


6. Satisfaction Guarantee

Our guarantee is based on the fulfillment of our promise to deliver quality programming. If you are not satisfied, we kindly request your input in the form of suggestions, comments, and ideas on changes for improvement.

If, after attending the first day of class/camp, you are not completely satisfied, please let us know within 24 hours after the first day of class and we will:

Sorry, we CANNOT issue credits for missed classes, facility rentals, adult sports leagues, tickets and transportation costs to entertainment, sporting events, amusement parks, ski trips, or meals that are part of an LARPD event.


7. Transfer Policy

Transfer request made less than 7 (seven) days prior to the first class/activity meeting are considered cancellations and cannot be completed. Failure to attend class or "no shows" will not be granted a refund/credit.
